Lynn Gifford RN

Forensic nursing

An RN since 1976, Lynn Gifford is currently Coordinator, Forensic Nursing Services at Surrey Memorial Hospital, where her areas of expertise include violence across the lifespan and trauma informed practice. She has presented to the International Association of Forensic Nurses and educational institutions, including UBC and BCIT, and is the founder of the Backpack Project to feed the homeless in Surrey.

A mother of four and grandmother of two, Gifford has a special interest in exploring alternative spiritual practices to sustain resiliency in work and life.
